I decided to do some speed paintings since I never, ever do them and I hear they are pretty good for practice;) Each of them took about 30 minutes. The first two I did in greys because I wanted to focus mainly on values. In the last one I cheated and went for some colour. I dig the first one the best and felt like not posting the second one but hey, it’s all about practice right.

The beginning of a coloured version of Cynthia, a sketch I posted a few weeks ago. I pretty happy with it so far. I hope to place her into a sky city environment of sorts. Kinda of like an ancient Persian city with a dash of Steampunk thrown in.

Here’s a sketch I did for a shirt design for the company I work for. It’s a vintage orange label with the some "Orange Sprockets." Not sure if it’ll get used but it’s good practice to doodle stuff you don’t normally draw me thinks.

Here are two quick sketches I did for a ConceptArt CHOW (character of the week). They live in a world full of sky pirates and only Sam and Cynthia can rid of them.
