These drawings were done for the Sketchjam theme, “Steampunk”
I was pretty excited when this theme came up as I had just finished the last comic in the Steampunk series by Joe Kelly and Chris Bachalo. His ideas of what steam technology could have evolved into and the characters who exist in this world are amazing.
The first pic is an idea of a man born with deformities, such as the true life Elephant Man, who tries a steampunk variation of cosmetic surgery from a back alley steam surgeon.
The second pic is just a couple sketches of woman wearing Victorian fashion with small elements of steampunk. The more subtle the more believable I think.
