This was a drawing done for the Sketchjam theme, “1800’s”
I had been flipping through a Norman Rockwell book a friend had given me, thanks again Richard, and I was admiring how he created such happiness and levity in his characters. So I figured I’d give it a shot too. It was also an opportunity to play with a setting and some perspective. Something I definitely need more practice on.
I'm a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Flash Developer and proud metalhead. Yup. Had the mullet, a badass kutte and everything. I've loved drawing since I was a wee lad and got into video games when I first laid my hands on an Atari 2600. So that led me to do even more game themed art and I eventually found myself taking Virtual Reality in college. I emerged as Graphic Designer in 1999 and have had the opportunity to work in Video Game companies, e-Learning companies and Design companies ever since.
